About Blondie

This is me:
Though I usually don't wear the beard.  It's kinda itchy on my face.

I am the daughter of these two people:
Does anything really need to be said?  I think the picture says it all.
I was raised in San Diego, CA and moved to Georgia to be closer to my mother and her family just shy of turning 21. I've been in the legal profession most of my adult life (I didn't say grown up, as I'm not quite there yet).

I am a single mother of two kids, and am doing my very best to make sure they are as screwed up and dysfunctional as the rest of us, one day at a time.  They are 11 (son) and 16 (daughter).  These are my two kids:
They're such goof balls.  I have no idea where they get it!
My mother is the second of 6 children by her parents, and I’m the oldest of her 8 children, with 2 additional siblings by my father.  What this means is I have a shit ton of siblings.

Me and two of my sisters playing in the streets of NY.
Some homeless guy probably woke up the next morning saying, "Dude, where's my wheels?"
Not only do I have a shit ton of siblings, I have a shit ton and a half of cousins.  I’m the second from the oldest of my grandparents’ 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. (You’ll see the oldest grandchild further down "practicing".)
My family has really done their part to insure the survival of the species.
Having such a large family is often very fun since most of us actually like each other and enjoy spending quality time together.  Every year there is a big family camping trip where we take a convoy of rednecked out, John boats and canoes and drift down river...
till we find the perfect sandbar, big enough to house all our tents and common areas, and for the 20+ of us that go to have some play room.
It's fun time with the family.
Holidays and get togethers are usually a hoot too.  Often someone is going to look like this:
He wasn't drunk (YET).  He was practicing how he'd look once he was.
You know what they say...practice makes perfect.  Keep up the good work, Cuz!
When I'm not hanging out with my awesomely dysfunctional family, I am hanging out with my equally awesomely dysfunctional friends.  I enjoy photography, live music, dancing, playing pool, cooking and anything else that I can get into with great company.
